How does Stratbase help me build a better CS2 stratbook?

Our platform has a special strat editor made just for Counter-Strike. You can write strategies, mention specific players or nades (@player, @smoke), and add images easily. This helps you create a clear digital CS stratbook that's much easier to understand than old spreadsheets or text files. Your team will learn plays faster.

Can Stratbase function as a CS2 Demo Viewer?

Yes, Stratbase includes features for CS2 demo analysis. You upload your game replay files (.dem files), and our tool shows you a top-down, 2D map representation of the round. This unique view makes it easy to see player positions, movements, and overall patterns unfold across the map. It's great for analyzing your team's execution and studying opponent tendencies (anti-stratting) from a clear, strategic perspective.

How many demos can I upload for analysis using the CS2 demo viewer features?

With a standard Stratbase 'Team' plan, you can upload 50 demos each month. This is usually enough for most teams to review practices and matches using the CS2 demo viewer's 2D map view and update their CS strategy book. If your team needs to upload many more demos than this, please contact us on our Discord server through a support ticket.

Who can see my strategies and uploaded demos?

Your team's strategies are private. Only people you invite to your team on Stratbase can see your CS strategy book and the demos you upload for CS2 demo analysis. Your plans and game reviews stay safe within your team.

No! With our standard 'Team' plan, only the team owner or leader needs to pay. They can invite their teammates, who get full access to see the CS strategy book, join discussions, and use the CS2 demo viewer features for team demos too – all for free.
